Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • cup green pepper (seeded and diced)
  • ½ cup yellow onion (diced)

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook for 6-8 minutes or until browned, breaking up the ground beef with a spatula.
  • Add onions and green peppers and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes or until they become soft.
  • Drain off excess grease and add the meat to the slow cooker.
  • Add tomato sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, yellow mustard, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, salt, onion powder, and paprika to the slow cooker. Stir everything together.
  • Cover and cook on high for 2½-3 hours or on low for 6-7 hours.
  • Serve hot on hamburger buns and enjoy!
