Instructions
Add pasta sauce, diced tomatoes, black pepper, and Italian seasoning to the crock pot. Mix until well combined, then add chicken and toss to coat.
Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 5-6 hours.
Remove chicken and shred with two forks. Then add chicken, tortellini, and Parmesan cheese to the crock pot. Mix until combined.
Top with mozzarella cheese and cover, and continue cooking for 30 minutes.
Notes
Use a thicker pasta sauce so the final dish stays rich and not watery after cooking.
Add the tortellini at the end of cooking so it stays tender and does not turn too soft.
Shred the chicken well so it mixes evenly through the sauce and coats the pasta better.
Let the cheese melt fully before serving so everything comes together smooth and creamy.
