Crock Pot Garlic Butter Steak Bites are a hands-off take on the flavors of classic butter-basted steak. By using the Crock Pot, you don’t have to stand over the stovetop while they cook! The fresh herbs really add a lot of flavor to this dish, too.
In a quart slow cooker, add potatoes and asparagus to oppisite ends of the slow cooker. Mix the onions and steak together. Then, place them in the center.
In a medium bowl, add melted butter, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, paprika, mustard powder, rosemary, and thyme. Whisk until well combined and pour over everything.
Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours.
Serve while hot, and enjoy!
Notes
Sirloin is a great cut of meat for this recipe. You could also use flat iron steak or stew meat.
Make sure the steak, potatoes, and asparagus are cut into similar-sized pieces so that they cook evenly.
Chop your steak and veggies the night before and store them in an airtight container in the fridge. This makes it super easy to toss everything into the Crock Pot in the morning.
You can garnish the dish with fresh parsley or chives for extra brightness and color.
