Crockpot Cherry Cobbler is one of our favorite Crock Pot desserts. There’s just nothing better than a warm scoop of cobbler with brown sugar crumble and some vanilla ice cream.
Pour the cherry pie filling to the bottom of a 6-quart slow cooker.
In a medium bowl, add cake mix, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Whisk until well combined and pour over the top of the cherry pie filling.
Pour 8 tablespoons of melted butter over the top of the top of the dry cake mix.
In a small bowl, add brown sugar, rolled oats, and melted butter. Mix until well combined and spoon over the top of the cobbler.
Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours.
Serve with caramel sauce and ice cream. Enjoy!
Notes
Drape a few paper towels over the slow cooker before placing the lid on top. This will absorb any condensation and keep the cobbler from getting soggy.
Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix so it stays moist and cooks evenly.
Check doneness by inserting a toothpick and ensuring it comes out clean.
Every Crock Pot cooks a little differently, so when you make this recipe for the first time just keep an eye on it around the 2.5 hour mark to make sure it doesn’t overcook.
