This creamy Slow Cooker Chicken Cordon Bleu is the ultimate slow cooker casserole. It’s a comforting and balanced dinner that’s great any night of the week.
Roll up two cheese and two slices of ham and place them in the chicken's pocket. Then, put them in the slow cooker.
In a medium bowl, add sour cream, chicken soup, chicken broth, yellow mustard, Dijon mustard, onion powder, black pepper, and garlic. Mix until well incorporated and pour over the chicken.
Combine the stuffing with melted butter in a separate bowl. Spread the mixture over the sauce.
Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 4½-6 hours.
Garnish with parsley before serving, and enjoy!
Notes
Test with a thermometer: To ensure the chicken is fully cooked, check it with a thermometer. It must be cooked to at least 165 degrees F for safety.
Cook on low: You may cook this casserole on high but I love making it on the low setting when I can for the moistest chicken ever.
Let it rest: Allow the casserole to rest a few minutes in the pot before serving to ensure the chicken stays juicy and everything sets.
