Crock pot pizza is a tasty twist on an old favorite. Using a handful of ingredients, you can create a cheesy pepperoni pizza with the perfect crust right in your crock pot!
Pizza is a dish we all love. I can't think of anyone who would ever turn it down, and pepperoni pizza is the universal pizza of choice. True to my love of slow cooking, I devised a slow cooker version of pepperoni pizza that delivers all that classic pizza flavor right down to the perfect crust.
This pizza was inspired by my cock pot pizza dip recipe. I figured if I could go as far as that, I could probably go all the way and make a full-on pizza in my crock pot. I love serving it with my crockpot stuffed shells or pepperoni pinwheels for an Italian feast that feeds a crowd.

Pizza is a full meal, but I love to make it part of a larger meal with fun appetizers for the family or to serve to friends.
Tips
- Be sure your cock pot is evenly coated with cooking spray so the pizza is easy to remove.
- Try to keep the pizza crust as even as possible when pressing it into the bottom and up the sides of the crock pot.
- If you add meats like sausage or ground beef to your pizza, be sure to cook them BEFORE topping the pizza with them.
FAQ
They're almost the same. Pizza sauce is a little thicker than marinara sauce, but either can be used on pizza.
Depending on the recipe, crock pot pizza crust can be soft or crispy. Just like traditional pizza, it comes down to the recipe.
The pizza crust is done when the edges are golden brown and crisp.
Sausage, ground beef, bacon, or any raw meat should be cooked before putting it on pizza. This ensures a safe pizza and eliminates excess grease on the pizza.
