What To Serve With Crock Pot Garlic Parmesan Chicken and Potatoes
This hearty, delicious dish is a full meal on its own, so skip the sides and go straight to dessert for a sweet finish to your meal.
Tips
- Cut the potatoes and chicken into bite-size chunks for uniform cooking and easy eating.
- Be sure to cut the cream cheese into a full 8 pieces. This ensures your pieces are small enough to melt fully as the dish cooks.
- Add some milk to your garlic sauce bottle after emptying it and shake it up. You'll release the rest of the sauce trapped in the bottle and get the most bang for your buck.
FAQ
You can use garlic alfredo sauce in a pinch if you can't find garlic parmesan sauce. It will create a similar flavor profile.
Absolutely. Slow cookers were designed to cook raw food over low heat for an extended period of time. This combination creates tender, juicy, and fully cooked meat without bacteria contamination.
This is a fairly wet recipe, so sticking shouldn't be an issue. However, if you want to be double-sure, just spray your crock pot with non-stick cooking spray.
To reheat the dish faster, place it in a pot over medium-low heat and cook until it's heated through.
